Here in California, we have just one remaining nuclear power plant.

Since 1985, Diablo Canyon power plant, has provided 10% of the state's total electricy, at a cost to ratepayers of just $0.07 per kWH. This is a fraction of the $0.35 per kWH that we pay on average.

Extending Diablo Canyon's life through 2026 ALONE reduced PG&E power bills by $2.03 per month (on average).

With the construction of similar facilities, we could dramatically reduce our monthly energy bills, and have 100% carbon emision free power generation.

We need to break up PG&E and SoCal Edison - Give communities the right to manage their own utilities

Community owned utilities like LADWP have consitently repeatedly offered lower rates, better perforance, and better service, than for profit utilities like PG&E and SoCal Edison.

We need to end the state sponsored monopoly licenses issued by California Public Utilities Commission.

No longer do we need to line Wall Street Bankers pockets while paying the second highest rates for electricity in the country. Tell your politicians enough is enough.
