These community centers provide more than just a place to have fun, they are good places to blow off steam after work, enjoy some time with your friends, get a little excercise in. This is not just anecdotal -- communities with fewer parks and public spaces are less likely to propser economically.
The greenbelts under the powerlines on Raymond AVE and East 98th St should be converted into parks with walking trails and community gardens.
We deserve excellent public spaces in our community.
The section of the LA river running through Hawthorne, Gardena, Carson, & Torrance should be revitalized as they have done in the valley & with Santa Ana river.
